I will stamp all over 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I will injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As both boxers engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
